calling 613 area code - says "insufficent funds

Post by bf7041 »

I have Freephoneline at home - 2/12 years now. I live in the 613 area code and have 613 FPL number

Got a new cell phone with 613 number. It is with Telus. 613-915-xxxx

When my wife calls me she cannot get through - always gets the message of insufficent funds. She has tried dialing it with a "1" in front as well but no difference.

Can someone help to fix this - do we have to pay for local calls to cell phones now?

thanks,

John

Per the info in the following list, 613-915 should be local to Ottawa-Hull.

However, this may be a new exchange and I suggest opening a support ticket asking that this destination will be added to FPL free cities:

Yes it is local, but FPL is treating it as not covered. - I added funds to my account, and when I received a call from my wife and later checked my account i was charged for the call.
I will follow your link and submit the ticket.
thanks for your response.
