Is there anyway to divert selected phone # to VM? I'm using Obi200 as the ATA.
Thanks.

Yes, if you use a PAP2T. I am not sure about other ATA's.boon wrote:Is there anyway to divert selected phone # to VM? ...

Sorry, I have no idea about Obi products. I read that they are good ATA's but I don't care, ATM.boon wrote:... I'm using Obi200 as the ATA.

Hi Fongo Support,
Thanks. I will follow the instruction to set it up on my ATA.
By the way, has anyone tested call forward selected #? It seems like it should work with this option. But, does one need to add any "code" before the phone number for selected # call forwarding?

If you try and forward any call inside the ATA, it will send the caller to the voicemail IIRC

Re: Diverting selected phone # to VM
So, the answer is no, one can't call forward a selected #.

Re: Diverting selected phone # to VM
If you use a PBX you are able to do it, but not if you just use an ATA. I believe their system just forwards the call to the voicemail.
You can make it simultaneously ring on another number when calls come in (so it will ring your home ATA and a mobile number for example). This can be set up on the online admin page.
