I'm using the grandstream HT702, and all my settings are exactly as defined in the configuration guide on this forum.
for the past couple of months, everyone calling is complaining that my voice is getting cut off. I've called home a few times and hear it too. it's gotten to the point where having any conversation is impossible.
I've ensured that there's no network traffic when this is happening, and I'm on a 35mbit/3mbit connection.
right now my codecs are set to PCMU as the first choice, G729 as the second, and PCMU as the rest. is there something I can tweak?
my voice sounds choppy/cut off to inbound callers

Winmtr is a tool that will measure packet loss on your Internet connection.
All you need to do is to run it and enter voip.freephoneline.ca as a host.
Please see below:

Perhaps you can run this tool from a PC or laptop in your network at the time when your home phone does not work properly and send me a PM with the output of the winmtr tool
