How to test 911 dialing?

Post by tbrummell »

How can we test our 911 dialing, is it possible to set up a test call with Northern 911 so we can be assured our dial plans are set up correctly?

Unfortunately not, Northern911 (Devision of NorthernResponse) only authorizes a test call if it's coming from our CLI (Caller ID) and we give them specific details of the call.

I can however tell you that I personally test E911 and if ever at all it does not function (globally) I will notify all of you.
