Hello All,
I recently switched from Rogers home phone to FPL and was able to succesfully configure my ATA (Grandstream GXW-4004).
Of course there were initial config issues but it has been solid since May 2015.
I ported my # away from Rogers in June and recently I have been having issues.
No changes were made to the ATA nor router or anything on the network.
Problems include;
Calling people and they immediately hear music,
People call me and I can't hear them.
I can call a land line and it rings immediately,
I then call a person on VOIP and it never rings...just dead air.
I have checked all settings and everything is as it should be.....I'm stumped.
I am thinking that Rogers is doing something on the line because I took the VOIP away from them.
Anyone else have similar issues ???
Any suggestions???
I may take the ATA to a friends place not on Rogers to test.
Many Thanks,
A

That is unlikely.jodal00 wrote:I am thinking that Rogers is doing something on the line because I took the VOIP away from them.
Be sure you're using the Rogers proxy, voip4.freephoneline.ca:6060.
