I am new to freephone. Just downloaded it and tested it a little. I was disapointed that I could not access my voice mail via a regular phone.
Also, it would be nice to receive an audio file into my inbox as googletalk does and or get a email when there is a voice mail to let one know that there is one as well as a flag as skype does.
Another improvement would be to have the contact list be like skype with one name and additional tabs for different phone nos for the same person.

You can access your voice mail from another phone. See: http://forum.freephoneline.ca/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=249

Actually, you can do that too. Log on the freephoneline website, go to the "change details" page. At the bottom, you can "Enable voicemail to email" and set it to send a copy of your messages as emails. You'll even get the caller ID in the email subject.Tsila wrote:Also, it would be nice to receive an audio file into my inbox as googletalk does and or get a email when there is a voice mail to let one know that there is one as well as a flag as skype does.
The message is packaged in a .AU file which is playable with Quicktime on most computers. Additionally, if you have an iPhone or iPod touch, you can listen to your voicemails with a free app called VoiceMailBox.
