Is anyone else using the softphone having troubles when on call, another person calls in dose not go to voicemail? Also When I run a test connection I get the following error:
Sound data transfer: Unable to send/receive sound data! Port 13000 should be available
I am able to make outbound and received incoming calls. Not sure what gives? I was able to run this test before the upgrade. Already turn off my firewall and put port fowarding UDP Ports 13000-13001, 6060-6061. Any help would be great.
Softphone Ver. 3.0.1.0 Test Connection.

Starzone,
They reconized your first problem regarding call not forward to voice mail while line busy, refer the post below.

For the second problem, I also have the same result in testing connection while making/receiving call normally, but it was occassionally, one time work, one time not.
Anyway, the softphone login was not consistence too. Sometime it needs to wait for extended long time and no luck to get in. But tried to reset the softphone a couple times it worked again.

Thanks for the update! I cannot really complain about the service when you don't pay for it. It’s just minor issue that I am seeing with the soft phone. Overall qualities of the calls are really good. Next is to purchase an ATA, any suggestion on which hardware to buy?

Re: Softphone Ver. 3.0.1.0 Test Connection.
Starzone,
I would suggest you play with the softphone for a while to verify and validate various features from FPL before you decide to purchase a configuration file and install your ATA.
I have a Grandstream HT286 single telephone ATA, very cheap around $35-40. I used it for my company's VoIP in the pass 6 years and no fault found and reliable. Some ppl here use Linksys two port telephone ATA. More control and program with router too. Of course more expensive.
Please note that after activate the ATA by buying a config file, you no longer be able to use both ATA and softphone at the same time. If you login softphone, it probably kick out ATA registration and vice versa when ATA initiate registration, it will kick out softphone login.
For me I shall continue to use the softphone as I basically use it on the go. It is really good for conference calls. Good latency and less choppy.
However, the softphone is so basic and not feature rich.
I may consider to purchase the config file later then use a more advance SIP phone but I won't put it on my ATA as that is not my ultimate goal of using FPL.
Hope this give you a good reference to start with.
