From the site we actually have 2 porting timelines according to the FAQ:
http://support.freephoneline.ca/entries ... r-porting-
"Phone number transfers typically up to 5-7 days to complete."
"Phone number transfers typically up to 14 days to complete."
I requested a number port on November 24th. Today is December 7th, day 11 and I haven't gotten any information from FPL about when the port will be completed. I doubt that it will complete in the next 3 days (thereby fitting on the 14 day timeline) since I presume the current carrier will want a week to complete this. Are the (2 different) guidelines in the FAQ citing business days?

Porting took from November 3 - 23 which is 20-21 days and not within the guidelines of the FAQ.

You should probably contact support and ask for a status.
I have a feeling that there is an issue with your porting.
Please follow the steps below:
1. Open a support ticket for this issue.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xsVFrWbzVzs
2. Once you have the ticket#, please send me a private message (PM) with the ticket#.

Note: Please try to do this before 11 PM EST today.
Best regards,

Re: Phone Number Porting Timelines
Looks like something unclogged in the pipes, just got an email saying the porting will be completed tomorrow. 14 days exactly to the hour. Friend of mine will be completed on Friday, also 14 days to the hour.

That would be me. 20-21 days includes weekends. Excluding weekends, porting took 14 business days.sinister.groupon wrote:Looking at the other post:
