No sound / voicemail not recording

Post by misslily »

Hello;

Twice I have called my phone and tried to leave a message with no success. Once I had a friend do the same. When I originally called, voicemail said there was a message but the contents were silent. When my friend called, it did not even state that there was a message. Both times we made sure it said the message was saved and 'you may hang up' before completing the call.

Can this be resolved? I just installed fongo on my desktop computer, and I'm afraid if it cannot be resolved it will be unusable.

What brand and model router are you using?
If it came from Videotron, ask them if it's possible to disable SIP ALG in it.

I had the same issue today... Had a voicemail that was blank today. Even the email with audio attachment was blank. I also noticed that I was on a call and than everything went dead on the line and couldn't dial out. Anyone having the same issue?

Sorry, I think I completely misunderstood your problem when I originally responded.

When you sign in at https://www.freephoneline.ca/mailbox, do you see the message there? If so, you should be able to delete it.
If both incoming and outgoing calls work for you, but the voicemail problems persists even after deleting the existing messages, you need to get your Freephoneline account checked.

Send a ticket in to https://support.fongo.com/anonymous_requests/new and ask them to look at your account.
If no one responds, send a PM to Fongo Support with your ticket #: http://forum.fongo.com/ucp.php?i=pm&mode=compose&u=7852
