I used to just check my voicemail by calling *98. Then, one day I changed the setting to remote and local access for the password because I needed to check my voicemail when I wasn't at home.
I've left it there for a while and tried to switch it back just now to how I used to do it by changing the setting for password to remote access only. But, I can't check my voicemail from home anymore unless I call the remote number. When I call *98 from my home phone, I just get a recording like I'm calling remote access and my phone number is read out to me and then it just stops. I can't access my voicemail even if I enter my password. I have to access my voicemail by calling the remote number still.
I've logged out and checked the setting and it does say remote access only.
How can I make my voicemail local again so I just need to enter *98 from home?
