Messaging RIGHT from Dialer pad

When I start Fongo on Android, it shows dialer. Then i pick the Person/Head icon lower left, and select the person, then their fongo# or mobile#.

Then their name and number appear at the top of the dialer.

Now the only option is CALL.

Why not also add a "Message" button RIGHT THERE? It would be soooo convenient!
(Or am i just not seeing it?)

It is SUCH a pain to then have to GO to messaging, AGAIN find the person, etc (MANY STEPS) rather than just pressing ONE button on the dialer page.

Am i really missing something, or is there a better way? (or PLEASE add this to the dialer page!)

Even the second screenshot IMPLIES that you can text(message) RIGHT THERE!
