1) Block CID / Block CID Per Cal; 2) 3(+?)-way call

Post by rad »

hello,

For FPL via CISCO-SPA112 ,
with
"Follow Me" enabled at FPL's web/online MyAccount,
plus voice message,
plus inbound fax call accepted as fax,

1) is it possible to have Block CID / Block CID Per Call ?

2) is it possible to have 3 (or more)-way call ?

----------------------

thanks

No. The call will be forwarded by FPL (to your cellphone, for example, if your cellphone number is listed in Follow Me) no matter what due to Follow Me being enabled. The inbound call is processed by FPL before it even hits your ATA.

Yes, 3-way calls are possible. Typically the user just presses the "flash' button on his or her handset, dials the number, and then presses flash again once the call is connected.

If you require more than 3-way calling, you can use conference calling: https://www.freephoneline.ca/features/c ... e-calling/.

Thank you for replying, but I think I was misunderstood.
I meant,
in my outbound calls to block my FPL number on receiving side of my outbound calls.
Per outbound call and/or for every outbound call.

Yes, sorry. I thought you were talking about blocking incoming Telemarketing calls based on incoming phone number.

I don't have a SPA112 to test with, but *81 is supposed to block caller ID on the next outbound call.
*67 blocks caller ID on all outbound calls.

Hopefully, someone else with your ATA will respond to ensure those options work with FPL.
