Hi all,
Anyone know of any way to block numbers through the ATA? We keep getting a call from a 1866 number, twice daily at least.
In a few years, that's the only "spam" calls we've received through FPL. If I could even just block this one entry, our household would be a lot happier.
Suggestions appreciated!

I don't have this ATA, but is there an option to specify specific phone numbers to call forward in it? If so, disable Follow Me in your freephoneline.ca online account, and enable call forwarding to specific numbers. Then enable call forwarding in the ATA and enter the the numbers you want forwarded (or blocked, in this case) in your ATA. The incoming calls should be directed immediately to FPL's voicemail system because FPL doesn't allow call forwarding in the ATA.
It would be easier if I could see the ATA menus. If there's no option to do what I'm describing then, I'm sorry; I don't know.

Thanks, Lipton. I couldn't find one and a cursory search on the web didn't turn up anything. Attaching the config fields for you just in case.

I could be wrong, but I didn't find what I was looking for in the document you posted. I also couldn't find per number Call Forwarding in the user manual: http://www.grandstream.com/sites/defaul ... nglish.pdf, but that doesn't mean the feature isn't there. Too bad there isn't an online emulator for that ATA.mh1983 wrote:Thanks, Lipton. I couldn't find one and a cursory search on the web didn't turn up anything. Basically, what I was describing is this: http://forum.fongo.com/viewtopic.php?f= ... 37&p=50140.
You might be happier with an OBi200 that is on sale until Sunday from Newegg.ca: https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.a ... 6833617008. In the OBi200 PDF guide, there's a description on how to handle telemarketers. However, that method will not work if Follow Me is enabled. Obihai ATAs have more advanced call routing options than both the Linksys series ATAs and the Grandstream ATAs.
