Follow the steps listed at http://forum.fongo.com/viewtopic.php?f= ... 112#p74006
For step 13, submit a ticket and request a "forced registration." Select "account inquiry" for the issue type.
Keep in mind that you may only register a FPL account on a single device at any given time. Should you attempt to register the same FPL account on multiple devices, only the most recently registered device will ring for incoming calls. Moreover, should an ATA (or combination of ATAs) attempt more than 5 registrations with the same FPL account within 5 minutes, you will be temporarily IP banned by the specific FPL SIP server used.
If using multiple ATAs with multiple FPL accounts, ensure each ATA is using a different Local SIP port within the range of 30000 to 65535.

Re: Incomming call no sound, can't hear another side
I have similar issue when testing with a second ATA on my LAN, have tried different local SIP ports but not in the 30000 to 65535 range.
What is the reason for that range?
My second ATA is also an HT701....argh!

Re: Incomming call no sound, can't hear another side
There are two reasons:marco99 wrote:I have similar issue when testing with a second ATA on my LAN, have tried different local SIP ports but not in the 30000 to 65535 range.
What is the reason for that range?
1) Using a high local sip port may help to circumvent faulty SIP ALG functions in routers that monitor traffic on UDP 5060 and 5061 ports. To understand why SIP ALG often causes horrible problems, please visit http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Routers+SIP+ALG. The reason voip4.freephoneline.ca:6060 exists is for users that are having SIP ALG issues.
2) Using a high random port helps to thwart SIP scanners or crackers trying to access your devices and services. The first ports they will scan are 5060 and 5061. This is a reason why port forwarding is a security risk. Port forwarding 5060 is, especially, unwise.
