Hi
I'm a happy user of fpl services for 2 years now.
I have an asterisk box and I forward calls to my cell (telus).
Before to make the call I set CALLERID(NAM) . that work well when I call an other fpl account but is ignored when I call on my mobile.
It is overwritten by FPL, by Telus?
Is there any other way to set the caller id ?
thank you
callerID on forwarded call

Re: callerID on forwarded call
To prevent number spoofing and telemarketing, we do not allow the modification of the callerid string from the customer side.

Re: callerID on forwarded call
I certainly agree with that. I have a huge list on my blacklist database.
I'm wondering if there is no middle way. To allow only CID name (or part of it), never CID number.
I think will make more customers happy.
