Hi, there!
I am interested in using a pre-recorded audio file for my voicemail greetings instead of using my own voice. Is there a way to achieve this? The only idea I have is to record this audio file onto a microcassette via "PC audio output to microcassette recorder audio input" and then play this microcassette with the message via "microcassette recorder audio output to PC microphone input" while setting up the voicemail greetings with a call. Is there a better way to do this? Please share your ideas.

Re: Pre-recorded audio file and voicemail greetings
Unfortunately right now the only way would be the way you mention - you'd have to play it into the mic input to record it. If we allowed people to simply upload .mp3 files for greetings, then a lot of copy-written material would likely be used as voicemail greetings which can lead to some troubles with broadcast laws.
