Extended greeting voice mail

Post by dephantn »

How long or how to extent time for extended greeting in voice mail service?,
I try either standard & extended greeting, it only 60 seconds, I need more time, i.e. 3 or 4 minutes, also the time to leave message short too, about 70 seconds, I think it should be 3-5 minutes will be good.
I do not know if I do not do the right way or the FPL system limits like that .
Please advise .

Why would you need a 3-4 minute greeting message unless you're using your FPL for business purposes, which FPL is NOT FOR, and violates their TOS?

Spot on OverDrive, section four (4) point 'h' clearly states and I quote:
  • 4. USE OF THE SERVICE

    h. Acceptable Use Policy
The Customer may make use of the Services solely for his/her own personal, residential use. The Service is to be used for voice only purposes. The Customer may not resell or transfer the Service to any other person for any purpose, or charge any other person for the use of the Service.
Then again, I'd hate for my throat to be jumped down my first post too! So, before we all judge here, may I ask what purpose an extended greeting of 3 - 4 minutes has for you?

Thank Admin for your politeness.
First of all, I do not use FPL with its' limitation & quality for business ,( No offense , because the FPL is good for & use for home, and all should be appreciate FPL ) so no any dump businessman want to get trouble for his business, (anyway, line & wireless so low price, why get problem for business?)
The reason I like 3 minutes for greeting & /or message , because my family is big, international , and not only live in N. America , we speak English, Spanish, Bulgarian, Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese , as now my answering machine , we have all langues in greeting , ( Grand-Pa call from Vietnam or son in law call from Spain they know it is right # ), so the message need long enough for them ( you know the long distance cost from them not cheap, and charge by rounded minute ) to be worthy the call , I could pay for that " enhance voice mail service" then get rid of lane line & answering machine.
I untented do not reply this post , because my first feeling ,first time in this community is bad, but the understanding & polite of Admin make me did.
So I guess I still be in the old way and end story here.
P.S . My last idea is : If some one so cheap to think to use limited free thing for business & do not patient, polite enough to listen to other, he/she was not/will never to be business person.
