softphone connects but BOTH sides cannot hear each other.

Post by mtbnunu »

sometimes it works fine, but other times the call will connect, but either side cannot hear each other.

i found out that when this occurs it will keep doing this for a while but if i uninstall and reinstall the softphone software it will work fine until program is exited and reopened.

it doesn't matter who calls, when i call from softphone, the other phone will ring, but i dont hear outoging ring on my side.

when some1 calls me from other phone, my phone rings, they hear outgoing ring.

but both cases when the call connects we can't hear each other...

----edit------------------------------------
i tried "test connection" feature, and got following response.

"Sound data transfer: Unable to send/receive sound data! Port 13000 shoud"

and it goes out of window and i just cant read it...LOL

any1 know what the rest of that sentence might be? and what to do with port 13000?

You need to set your router to forward ports 5060, 5061, 6060, 6061, 13000 and 13001 to your computer.
