One way audio inbound calls PAP2

Post by RonaldPagan »

Hi There,

Searched the forums but couldn't find the exact problem as mine.

Have FPL account with a Linksys PAP2 and the config file. Phone was working fine until I changed routers. I swapped an old WRT5G flashed with tomato to a new RT-N16 also flashed with tomato. Problem is that something was lost in translation.

I can call out with my FPL phone but inbound calls ring and i can answer however people on the other line can't hear me. I can hear people calling me but there's no outbound audio from my device.

Ports forwarded include 5060-6061, and 10000-20000 both on UDP. I have tried changing the preferred codec to 711u but that does not solve the problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Definitely sounds like something is up with the NAT traversal of the new router. Does it have a DMZ option you could try the ATA in?

I'm not familiar with the Tomato firmware - I think we've got a few Tomato pros around here who may be of more help than I.

Success!

After much fiddling and calling myself I found under Advanced -> Conntrack Netfilter to uncheck SIP under Tracking and Nat Helpers.

That did the trick. Very happy.
