Do not disturb mode "starred contacts only" not working.
On android DNS mode setting, I have selected to block call from everyone who are not on my starred contacts. But everyone who are not on my starred contacts are still able to call me when I'm on DNS. What to do?

bridonca is likely the moderator to ask about this since I'm not using Android. I don't believe Jake uses Android either.
1. It seems unlikely to me that using DNS mode would make any difference. Does your blocking method work when not using DNS mode? If not, then obviously DNS mode doesn't matter.
2. This is the only way to block numbers using Fongo Mobile, as far as I know: https://support.fongo.com/hc/en-us/arti ... Fongo-3-7-?
If you didn't do that, then that would explain the problem.

DNS does make a difference. When I'm on DNS and select "allow calls from none", I block calls from everyone. When I'm on DNS and select "allow calls from starred contacts only", I couldn't block contacts who are not starred.
on DNS, I'm trying to block everyone other than my family or employer. How can I do that, Is there another way other than my way?

That could be an OS setting affecting the entire phone (all or nothing... and I can't test with Android at the moment), but blocking numbers in Fongo Mobile is based on the app's block list.Cookie wrote:When I'm on DNS and select "allow calls from none", I block calls from everyone
When you're not using this DNS service, does blocking contacts who are not starred, using your method, work with incoming calls to your Fongo Mobile number? If not, then the DNS service does not make a difference with allowing calls from started contacts only in Fongo Mobile. When I'm on DNS and select "allow calls from starred contacts only", I couldn't block contacts who are not starred.
It doesn't make sense to me that using different DNS servers to resolve domain names to IPs affects how Fongo Mobile blocks calls. Call blocking in Fongo Mobile is based on matching the incoming phone number in Fongo Mobile's own block list.
I'm not aware of any other accepted method (officially supported by Fongo) of blocking calls for Fongo Mobile other than this: https://support.fongo.com/hc/en-us/arti ... Fongo-3-7-?.I'm trying to block everyone other than my family or employer. How can I do that, Is there another way other than my way?

Oops, what I meant was DND "Do not distrub" mode, not DNS mode.
I'm looking for way to use my black and white contact list when I'm using fongo on DND mode.

Well, DND can completely block app notifIcations, but as far as I know, Android’s phone block list has no affect on Fongo Mobile.
The same is true with iOS.
Again, I'm not aware of any other accepted method (officially supported by Fongo) of blocking calls for Fongo Mobile other than this: https://support.fongo.com/hc/en-us/arti ... Fongo-3-7-?.
