Service drops out in the evening

Post by viper610 »

today and yesterday i have had calls drop, and have not been able to dial out. just get 30 sec. silence and then a busy signal.

is anyone else experiencing this?

I haven't changed anything with my setup. I have another service setup on line 2 of my ATA and it seems to be fine.

thanks

I've checked my logs on the PBX server, seems like there isn't an issue for me. Are the ports forwarded to your ATA working properly?

I've been getting this lately also, just started out of nowhere all of a sudden.

At first I thought it was the other person's phone, but when it happened a few other times on other days I started to get suspicious.
Then that same person told me they couldn't reach me on my phone when they tried to call me (they had to call my cell).

So I logged into my PAP2t, tried to dial out and saw that after about 10 seconds registration had failed.
When the ATA renewed after about a minute, it registered fine, and then I was able to call again.
I thought maybe just a temp glitch, but it keeps happening.

I haven't had much time to dig in and really test, but I seem to be getting the same issue as you ... silence and busy signal after a bit.
Also getting the exact same thing if I try to call my number from my cell.

Dunno if it's settings related, but funny how all these weird things have been happening ever since the upgrades.
Coincidence?

I have similar problem this evening, cannot dial out. I didn't change any settings. Sometime ago reseting my box helped, but not this time.
On my PAP2NA I'm getting this message:
Registration State: Can't connect to login server

Miraculously it is now fine, I emailed tech support and the only thing I've changed was to forward port 10000-20000, but i did this after the problem seemed to resolve itself.
