@Liptonbrisk
I find your response harsh to the OP. I came here with the same customer service issue. The atrocious scripted template and lack of any effort in resolving technical issues is incredibly unhinged.
BTW, isn't there a class action lawsuit against Fongo's FreePhoneline where a lot of Fongo supporters are trying to discourage users from filing a claim on social media forums?
Anyway, I am glad you provided links on how to escalate complaints but it seems Fongo doesn't care about it's mobile app (free) accounts. I suggest you create a sticky with the above links before another moderator decides to delete this thread.

Thread hijacking with pointless commentary
The CCTS suggestion is the only real option and being vocal online. However, the caveat is the CCTS won't intervene if you're not paying for the service, assuming they even act at all with VOIP providers.Jake wrote: ↑02/22/2024
It sounds like you have gone through the right channels and fully tested things. Seeing that you have already escalated the ticket the only other step I can suggest is to contact the CCTS - https://support.fongo.com/hc/en-us/arti ... -complaint
You are paying for something that you are not getting, and I would suggest that 2 weeks is plenty of time to get some sort of reply from them. They do seem to listen a bit better when the CCTS speaks to them.

You've had a history of posting confrontational, pointless commentary on these forums. Clearly, a texting package was paid for. Fongo is a participating service provider with CCTS: https://www.ccts-cprst.ca/about-ccts/pa ... providers/. Jake's suggestion was relevant. The CCTS suggestion is the only real option and being vocal online. However, the caveat is the CCTS won't intervene if you're not paying for the service, assuming they even act at all with VOIP providers.
Consider this a warning. The next time I have to intervene to deal with your posts, I'll be banning your account(s).

Re: Stonewalled by technical support
Having an opinion as a user is fine. Disrupting other users’ threads with useless commentary isn't. The forum rules have been established for over a decade.
viewtopic.php?f=11&t=5&p=6
"Useless posting will also not be permitted nor will posts with the intent of “creating a reaction”. This includes, but is not limited to, posts of few words, no topic, or posts to grab attention to oneself or ones issues."
"Moderators/Admins have the final say. If they feel a topic is not suitable for these forums then it may be deleted without reason."
"Users who continually abuse the rules after being warned may be banned without prior notice. Bans may be temporary or permanent based on the conditions."
Moderators and admins enforce and interpret the rules.
There is no evidence in that thread to determine what the exact issue is. I guess if people want to leave negative, constructive feedback (that may not be read by Fongo staff), they can do so here for Fongo Mobile: viewforum.php?f=30.I came here with the same customer service issue.
I see you've already left negative commentary for Fongo Home Phone: viewtopic.php?t=20302. Okay, you don't recommend Fongo.
But complaining in a user-to-user support forum, or to the only (frequently) active volunteer moderator, about how they're being treated by support staff isn't productive. I have no context in that thread about a technical issue or anything else, and I am not a Fongo employee. Other users are also not Fongo employees.
I only see a threat of one at this time, which isn't relevant to the Fongo Mobile thread you posted in.BTW, isn't there a class action lawsuit against Fongo's FreePhoneline
This is published on Fongo's own site: https://support.fongo.com/hc/articles/2 ... -complaint. No one is going to delete the links.I suggest you create a sticky with the above links before another moderator decides to delete this thread.
Moreover, CCTS reminders are texted to Fongo Mobile users:
“Free Fongo msg:
For unresolved complaints about your telecom services, you can contact the Commission for Complaints for Telecom-television Services at www.ccts-cprst.ca or 1-888-221-1687”
That text was received on September 8, 2024, and the same message is periodically sent throughout the year to Fongo Mobile customers. So, either you aren’t one—which raises questions about why you’re posting and the veracity of the content in your posts—or you’re misinformed.
