HT801 Viewer, User & Admin loging not working

Post by Moondy »

Hi,

Starting a month or two ago (since Dec 2025), I cannot log in into my Fongo adapter HT801 for all three access modes: Viewer, User &r Admin. I have a Fongo Home phone account with HT801 adapter and I use to log in to have access to both User & admin account in the past. I did follow all the steps: Full reset then tried all three access types w/o success (admin/admin; user/123; viewer/viewer) none works. Any idea why ?

Fongo Home Phone HT-801s are provisioned or managed by Fongo, and provisioning can change or override local web UI access (so a reset/reboot can result in the ATA re-provisioning and restricting UI access). Another possibility is that Fongo may have pushed a new firmware version to the ATA that locks out access. In other words, it's possible the intention is to lock out users. As I'm not a Fongo Home Phone user, I'm unable to confirm if changes were made (and I don't work for Fongo).

You can contact Fongo and ask: https://support.fongo.com/hc/requests/new.

With unlocked HT-801s (Fongo Home phone's ATA are locked to the provisioning server), you login by following these steps:
a) Dial ***
b) Then dial 02
c) Enter the IP address you hear into a web browser.
d) Login to your ATA.

Default login password is admin.

You can also try a different web browser (and clearing cache/cookies) to see if that makes any difference.
