Connection to Fongo box
I want my land line connected to Fongo in a room far away from my internet router so ethernet is not feasible. Are there any other options.

You can find "Alternative Setups" listed at https://www.fongo.com/services/fongo-ho ... e/adapter/.
You can avoid using long ethernet runs by using a Wi‑Fi extender with an Ethernet port, powerline adapters, or MoCA over existing coax (if you can get it working, MoCA is a decent option instead of using Wi-Fi extenders), and Fongo even documents the Wi‑Fi‑extender approach as possible at https://www.fongo.com/services/fongo-ho ... e/adapter/ under "Alternative Setups". However, all of these introduce more latency or more points of failure than a direct ethernet cable run, so those options tend to be less reliable. Moreover, Fongo doesn't officially support them.
Another option listed under "Alternative Setups" from the same link is to use phone jacks in your wall. However, visit https://www.voipmyhouse.com/#thesolution for an explanation. If you don't disconnect the telephone company's line from the demarc first, you run the risk of frying your ATA. That is, if electricity is still running from the telephone company's line into your existing phone jacks in your home, that current can wreck your ATA.
There's also cordless phone systems.
