Noisy line

Hi,

After getting FPL connected on my end I hear a bad crackling/sea noise.

It is worst during silence, eg: dial a digit and wait & listen - the noise is worst during silence.

I checked and people I am speaking to and it seems clear their end.

Appreciate help to resolve this.

I am having this same issue with my Thomson 784 ATA that I purchased from FPL. I ended up getting tired of it and purchased a Thomson 780 ATA (for 30$) from fleebay and it is working GREAT !!! Too bad I can't get the my 784 to work properly as I much prefer my more expensive 784 model (due the integrated USB functions). I am now certian that the issue is probably with the ATA itself... I wonder if FPL can give me a working replacement????????
