I registered a new number in Calgary, Alberta. If I call from a New Brunswick number, the soft phone rings and I 'accept'. The softphone says on I'm on the call, however the actual landline phone I'm calling from just keeps ringing?
What gives?
Does not work at all

Re: Does not work at all
Did you have your ports forwarded properly? Sounds like a NAT issue to me.

Re: Does not work at all
Is there a place that I can reference which port should be NATed/Forwarded?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Does not work at all
I found this in the FAQ, I added all ports mention in port forward option and application forwarding. Neither work. I even added the PC to the DMZ, and I still have the same problem. Strange.
I've used several other IP phones with now issue, so this is really strange.

Re: Does not work at all
Personally, I never had to deal with any D-Link boxes at all, but from what I read and heard of is they're problematic to deal with when port forwarding issues are involved. I'd say get a router that can be flashed with third party firmware like the WRT54GL and use that router instead.
Of course, if you're a daredevil like me, build your own *nix router and load the ip_nat_sip Netfilter module and be done with it once and for all.
