mailbox access cannot navigate menu from home phone

Hi im having issues accessing the voicemails from home. i tried using *98 and the local phone # to access the voicemail. i issue seems to be that the dial tone when intering the account # or the password for example doesnt seem to work. its as if i havent entered anything and the system hangsup. the same goes for *98. i enter 1 to access new voicemail and nothing happens. i tried dialing a number that has a menu directory form my FPL account and i ahve not issues.. seems to be only with FPL voicemail system

if i call the local voicemail access # i have to issues. anyone have this issue?

I've just tried both (*98 and local access #) and it was working perfectly.

Try to plug another phone to your ATA, It happened to me with a Sylvania phone I had that could not get the tone of keys and it's ring was hardly heard. On a Bell line though it worked perfectly (hopefully that will do the trick otherwise it'll get complicated going through the settings)
