i have been using freephoneline for a long time. i reinstalled windows few days ago. now i installed freephoneline softphone on my pc again. but when i try to call any number i get message "failed". i cant even receive any call.

You would ether have to make an exception on your windows firewall, or better yet, disable the Windows firewall, because you are already behind a router, and the Windows firewall is worse than useless. I have never had good luck with Belkin routers, they are awful to deal with.
