I have a cordless phone which used to be able to receive the caller id number and name (text) of the caller.
Now that I've switched to voip, freephoneline, and it's only been able to receive the caller's number.
ATA is PAP2T-NA, is it possible to receive the caller's name (text) with voip?
Caller Name

Re: Caller Name
A phone company has to pay a 3rd party to provide those names, an easy enough cost to eat if the customer is paying $25 a month, but it is a bit expensive for a free service. I do not know of any fix, sadly.

Re: Caller Name
Neat info bridonca thanks, my apologies actually, it turns out my cellphone I was using to call my home doesn't have a name
Other residential numbers and text appear fine though it seems.
