Hi!
I'm new on the VoIP.
I have bought an ATA Linksys SPA2101, every thing is correct and working.
But i have a question, is it normal to have a delay when you are calling someone of about 10 seconds?
When i receive calls, its almost instantly, but when i call someone it takes about 10 seconds before it starts ringing.
Thank you for your help

Re: Long delay
It's most likely the dialplan in your ATA waiting to see if you are going to dial more digits or not. The industry term for this is called the "inter-digit timer". To see if that is the cause, try dialing a number and add a # to the end, if it dials right away you know it is the dialplan in the ATA that will require some tweaking.

Re: Long delay
I have same problem. I have checked by dialling # at the end and it was fast, so it is dialplan as mentioned. How can I tweek the dialplan?
