Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this setting.
When IP Dialing is enabled how does it work?
Do I program IP/Extension pairings in the dial-string?
Does it allow me to press a button, then dial a 12 digit IP?
Does it still try to route through the provider if it is IP dialing? or can it attempt a call directly to the specified IP?

Re: Linksys SPA and PAP: 'Enable IP Dialing'
It's supposed to allow you to dial a SIP URI. You can set a speed dial with the SIP URI or like you said put it in the dial plan. Also, it's supposed to allow you to receive IP calls from some one calling your IP address directly.
I say 'supposed' because I have tried to do both and it didn't work for me. I haven't spent much time with it. Much easier to do both with *.
