FPL Number sold to Tele-marketers

Post by zulkarnain »

Hi,

I would like to know why Free Phone line is selling my number to 3rd party. I signed up with FPL, paid $50 and got the file around 3 days back and just today i got a call from a marketing company based in Texas telling me if I want to continue my education. the guy even knew my name.

May I ask why are you doing this ?????????

Try Googling your phone number, tell us if any of the reverse phone number sites pull up your personal info. I'm quite sure it's not FPL. I have 2 numbers with them. One is brand new, one is a 7 yr old Bell number. Guess which one gets the phone spam? Not the new one.
