I use ATA with my FPL phone. I am able to call out and receive calls from other FPL numbers. However when non-FPL number call me, both side cannot hear each other. Please help.
Thanks,
Ken

Please ensure to provide ample details in order for a prompt response. To start:
1) Has it ever worked before or been like that from the start?
2) What ATA are you using? Is it from us or third party? Was it setup according to the guides we provide here in the forums?
3) What is your network setup and router model?
4) What troubleshooting have you all done on your own and what were the results (to ensure we aren't duplicating steps)

Re: Not able to talk outside FPL network
I have experienced almost same problem. Calling out from FPL in same network working fine. Calling out other networks (Rogers) they will not hear me, incoming calls from other networks working fine both ways. This always happened from the day I switched to SIP adapter. My router is a Linksys WRT54G , UDP ports opened 10000 to 20000 and 5060 to 6061 as per last tech support advice. Every time I change something will work for a short time, I am thinking because of resetting the devices. Today after calling tech support I decided to bypass the router and it worked. Than I switched back through the router without changing anything and was working also, but just for short time. I am running out of options now, the only think left is to have the SIP adapter directly connected to modem for a longer time and wait to see what happens but I will be without internet then.
Can you advice me how to fix this PLS ?

1) It likes this from the start
2) Third party ATA, its brand is small, not in the list here. But I setup all fields similar to other brands.
3) I have no control over the router, I am inside a college intranet.
4) Basically I just tried to call different number and found only can work with FPL numbers, no any other numbers.
I think most likely is the router setting. since the router is control by college, I have no access to it so cannot do any test on it. However if you can provide a list of things need to setup on the router, I can send it to the system admin and ask him to check and change.
