Prompt Levels?

Does anyone know what is Prompt levels?

When you dial to your voicemail, then go to administrative options there is a "prompt levels" feature

There are

Standard prompts
Extended prompts
Rapid prompts

I have tried with the firsts 2 but I didnt notice any difference, does anyone know what are those for?

Our voice messaging system is loosely based around the same structure as asterisks'. This means "standard prompts" includes all the "review" and "send" functions from the main menu, extended prompts guides you through the use of all the available functions from the main menu, and finally guides you through the use of all the available functions from the main menu; However, "rapid prompts" are very brief and are only reminders of each available feature, allowing you to use the system more quickly.

So this is for the IVR that I listen to when I log on to my Voice Mail or is for the IVR people listen when they reach my VM ?

It is the IVR you listen to when managing your own voicemail.
