Voicemail Greeting not saving/ or playing

I need help with the voicemail greeting settings. ive been on FPL now for over a week... a few issues with the softphone application on windows 7 64bit, like the error message that pops up everytime "cannot export freephone... temp.ext to registry, error.. its in a jpg Hope its okay to attach it.

Ive gotten this error on 3 computers all trying this software. all i have to do is click ok and then free phone line will open.
Im ready to order my Sip info and a ATA box but really whats holding me back is getting my voicemail greeting to work. ive whent in the administration options 33, record personal greeting and then did it, it plays back to me, and then i press # pound to save. It NEVER saves and Its driving me insane.
Ive try to change it last thursday, sat, and today on tuesday . no luck and theres no chopping in the audio on calls or on voicemail and my connection is Rogers cable 25mbit .

Can anyone help me on the voicemail?? ive even recorded a extended vacation greeting or absence and no luck getting it to play for others calling me. I have a skype calling subscription as well and i use it to test my free phone line voicemail greeting and number alot and no problems making or recieving calls.

Also, please provide the date your original account was signed up. This seems to be happening on some older accounts.

yeah I just got the voicemail greeting to work. thanks to private messaging steve. Does any one have any ideas how to get rid of the error box that comes up everytime I run freephoneline. lol if not i wont be using the app anyways will be getting the sip info and a ata box

What error are you getting? Softphone (if so, which) or ATA?

i am not getting any error ! i ve recorded the personal greeting several times and it replays correctly.
I confirmd using the # key and exited using the star * key.
everything seems to be correctly done but when I call myself with another phone, all i get is the standart message.

I am using a softphone (ipad app and the FPL desktop app)

Ahhh, okay. Is it a relatively new account? Or an older one? Steve from fpl replied above that there were some older accounts that had problems. My account, which is about 6 weeks old, has no problem, and I am able to modify as needed and it saves correctly. Perhaps PM either Steve or Lauren from this forum and they could try to assist you on this.

Just for comparison to see if there is a pattern to where this is happening, what are the first 6 numbers of your FPL account/phone # ???

Cust service is closed for the day. Drop a PM to Steve, include your full account info (# etc). He usually logs on early AM, so drop it in there tonight if you can; even though he does not PROMISE a fast turn-around, most on this forum have had SPEEDY service from him (no, I am not trying to set him up!). By mid-day your time tomorrow, if you do not have a resolution, then I would give CS a call, but then again, they may have to forward it to someone else too. Expect a HOLD delay with CS.

Is that your FreePhoneLine.Ca number (FPL), or is that the Telus Mobility cell number that you are calling from? Looking it up, it seems to be a Telus MIKE number out of Montmagny .... did you PORT a number to FPL?

That is not a telus number, it's a regular FPL number that was not ported from any other carrier.
I set it up back in november 2010

I think that is where I am confused.

In any case, late 2010 seems like it may be in the threshold of dates that Steve alluded to may have had some 'issues'. PM'ing him is probably best!

As I looked it up, 514-447 is a Montreal Fibernetics number, and would make more sense as an FPL # ...
