Voicemail not working using HT502 device

Hi everyone,

I am new to FPL.. I am using a HT502 device. Everything is working perfectly, I can make / receive phone calls without any problems.

My only problem is when I try to access the voice mail. Every key I hit when trying to operate the voice mails seems to be ignored.
I tried *98 and the local voice mail number and neither is working.

If I try the local voice mail number with another phone than my FPL phone, it is working perfectly.

Anyone has a clue what might be wrong?

I expect it is the DTMF that is not working right with the voicemail.

I don't know the HT502, but have a look in the settings for DTMF, and try different settings there.

Hi,

two areas to check on the line setup

1. Dial Plan... needs *xx or *98 (although if you didn't change the default one..might not need revision)
2. DTMF method - I have mine set to RFC2833, in all 3 priorities.

I just setup a few of these HT502's and voicemail works great.
