Hi Steve,
Will this maintenance window restore the call logs? I seem to have lost all call logs prior to October 26th.
Thanks,
Joanne

Hi Joanne,
I'm unsure if the call log restoration is part of the exact work being done tonight, but that is a high item on the list of our developers and should be done very soon as well.

Can one of the above posters please PM me the details of a call with failed incoming caller ID? So far this has not been reported by anyone else, so I'd like to focus on your accounts specifically to see if it's related or unrelated.

Hi Steve, recently I got problem with sending my phone ID out. If I call someone who have ID display function or call my cellphone. sometimes, my phone No. can be displayed. sometimes, can not. I will PM you my account information. Could you please have a look for me.
Right now, most people will not pick up phone without ID display. They think it's a cold call for sale somthing.
Thanks a lot.

Re: Planned Maintenance - Oct 28, 2011. 2AM-4AM EST.
After the recent upgrade on Oct 28, 2011, is there anyone in Vancouver experienced choppy voice qaulity during 8:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. PST?
I was experienced choppy voice quality in the last week after this upgrade on my FPL phone running on a Grandstream ATA286. I used FPL service for years and never have this experience before.
The problem happen from 8:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. PST every night but it is alway good during the day time.
I can hear other side clearly but the other side lost some of my words occassionly and sometime lost a second.
I tried to use the softphone on my computer using other FPL number, but getting the same problem.
I tried to use the Magic Jack on the same computer and the voice is crystal clear.
I tried to use my AIC ATA (on my residential main line) to the same internet connection and the voice is crystal clear.
I ran the speedtest on my internet and it was showing 50ms round trip delay, 350K plus uplink speed and 16Mbps download speed which is fairly good for VoIP. I am on Shaw High Speed Internet.
I therefore quit sure that the problem is not in my internet access as I have no problem with my other VoIP devices using other VoIP service providers no matter they are in my computer or another ATA.
I suspected there would be some resource issues on FPL VoIP server during the peak hour from 8:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. that make it not able to handle the volume of call paths simultaneously in good QOS.
Would FPL do an investigation see if there is a resource problem after the upgrade?

Re: Planned Maintenance - Oct 28, 2011. 2AM-4AM EST.
Good morning Steve,
I have the same problems as "tigerking" since starting on Sunday (13 Nov). I am in Ottawa and the problem will be starting areoung 7:00pm to midnight. The call will have few sec silent and comimg back. The sound was very choppy. I am using the Linksys PAP2T-NA and I do not have problems like that before. Please let me know what should I check and the internet speed no problem on my side either.
REgards,
Arthur
