Please help me with the following:
1) Can I port 647- Toronto area code #s from other VoIP providers?
2) If I port number, can I still keep the originally assigned Voip #/password as a separate Voip service with FPL?
3) How long does it normally take to port #? and what is the process...any form need be filled?
Since I am transferring from another Free Voip provider, I do not have bills or anything.
Thanks.

Re: Porting #s
1. you should be able to, as long as the 647 number is onnet to FPL which I can't see why it wouldn't be.
2. If you want to keep your existing number, sign up again and port the number into that account. You will loose your existing number if you port another number into it. This may of course mean you have to pay for another config file,
3. Not sure, call into FPL and they should be able to give you an idea. Because you will be dealing with another company than it will be difficult for anyone to give you an exact time, but they should be able to give you a ball park number.

Re: Porting #s
Hi Jake, thanks alot for giving me some directions!
By the way...i read the other forums...and wasnt able to get a solid answer on this. Is there any "one app" that you'd recommend for using FPL on iphone 4?
I have used media5Fone/Fring, and they dont work well half of the time. Any suggestions? Thanks.
