Voice mail notification stays even with no messages

I am using Linksys RTP300. The problem is when a voice mail is left, I get the notification on phone. But when I go through the massages and delete them, the notification stays on forever. What to do?

Sometimes it takes up to 15 minutes for it to process that no message are in fact waiting for you. A power cycle by unplugging the device should remove the MWI, or if you have your messages forwarded to an email to get a notification of a message, you could turn off the message waiting indicator within the Linksys and this nuisance will not longer be there.
