Not Mac compatible?!?!?
I just downloaded the software and find out that it's not compatible with Mac. I watched the intro video and it says the software works with PC AND Mac. Did I do something wrong? Please help.
Thanks

It takes forever to load but, here's the link. http://freephoneline.ca/mediaPartnerships
I hate downloading things from the internet so, when I did this and it didn't work I not happy at all. IMO, it's false adversting when the promo video clearly says "This unique softphone installs easily on any PC or Mac computer", in reality it doesn't. Maybe you guys should take off the video if it's not true.

I'll run it by my manager - looks like a mix-up at the video production company that nobody noticed. We'll see what can be done in regards to editing that out. Sorry for the confusion.freequeen wrote:It takes forever to load but, here's the link. http://freephoneline.ca/mediaPartnerships

Re: Not Mac compatible?!?!?
Well we have actually developed the Mac software phone and we just actually converted the Windows installer to a .dmg file, now all we need to do is update the website and of course as Steve said in another post in this thread, beta test.

Great to hear you've started a Mac Beta test!
Would love to help beta test.
You guys would be rocking with an iPhone app as well! Let me know if you're interested and I might be able to help out with that!

Re: Not Mac compatible?!?!?
I would gladly partake in the beta testing. I'm equipped to run Mac OSX (10.6.2), and Ubunto 9.10 (and Windows 7, but that isn't very relevant lol).

Re: Not Mac compatible?!?!?
I did and got the download link emailed to me.
The trouble I am having is it requires Java 1.6, I have an old Mac (non Intel) with 10.4.11 on it, and I don't seem to be able to get Java 1.6 for it. From what I can see Soylatte is out there for Intel Macs, but not for mine.
Does anyone know how I can get Java 1.6 installed on my machine? or do I have no hope as it is just too old?
Thanks.

Re: Not Mac compatible?!?!?
Is it possible to use the ATA device with a Mac? Would prefer to use it rather than the softphone. Thank you.

Re: Not Mac compatible?!?!?
The ATA is a standalone piece of hardware. Apart from setting it up a computer is not needed at all. But to answer your question, the interface to the ATA is usually through a browser, so yes you would be able to use a MAC with it.bills97 wrote:Is it possible to use the ATA device with a Mac?
