Trois Rivieres

Post by TheHardy »

I am wondering if Trois Rivieres, QC is an officially supported FPL "Free-to-Call" ratecentre, and if indeed it is, if it is the "base" for determining which of the outlying ratecentres should also be rated as "free" calls. TR was one of those that I noticed earlier, but the last round of tariff updates has removed a lot of the outlying ratecentres around TR, even though TR itself remains ...

Curious -- and, as posted in another thread, the actual REAL FPL "free city calling list" is out of date ... and not organized well enough to show us which the "ROOT" (or "BASE") free-calling-cities are ...

Confused --- still and again!

Hi TheHardy,

Trois-Rivieres is not included in the free calling zone at the moment. I will look into our free city calling list and if it is indeed out of date look into having it updated as soon as possible.

Hi Mike --- I see you have DOVE head-first into the forums -- you're all over the NEW POSTS. Glad to see it!! Someone to harass in Steve's absense!! And fresh-meat for us users to beat up on ... errr ... ask questions of.

Here's the thing --- TR _is_ a free-call, but it is _NOT_ on the official list. Pick any (older) TR NPA-NXX, plug'er into the rate-finder tool, or just lookup a TR based #, and dial away ... $0.00.

There's a ton of those, and if you follow the threads at all, you'll notice I kinda have a thing for finding, digging, investigating, etc. I'll fire ya a PM re: my issues and the question ... :-)
