forward mail/annoucemtns to email?

maybe i'm missing this somewhere but the notice of the downtime yesterday was very nice to see in my UCP...can i forward those to my email box so I get them well before the downtime occurs?

hm, the phpBB board supports some type of "subscription" service... but I'm not sure if that works just for specific topics, or if you can subscribe to a whole section (ie. announcements)

I can give that a shot...i was looking at the subscriptions but idealy they are forwarded to an external email address so I get all annoucements in my inbox...that would be nice to have.
