I read the announcement about Fongo pairing up with Dell. I downloaded the app to my ipad and went through the tedious process of setting up the app and then the actual account only to be told that there was no phone numbers available in Winnipeg! The service was tooted as being able to have local phone numbers.

Many areas do have local phone numbers, and most areas within Canada are free to call; however, the areas in which we are able to provide a local phone number for free is limited. We are of course always looking to expand and with the launch of this product I'm sure the list of areas we provide local phones numbers will expand as well.

They call free call to Winnipeg but they did not list that that will give you free local Winnipeg numbers

They try to expand you have to wait for it otherwise move to Ontario then you will have free local numbers
