[resolved] Dell Voice running data plan off call data usage.

hello i have a question, i am excited about dell voice and i am planning on getting it and buying a nexus s smartphone, now i still want to have a basic phone plan with limited calling features and lean towards a data plan to use with dell voice, sorta like anytime mins for my phone while im away from my home wifi or any wifi in general, now the question is, i know the app uses data when making a call and it is equvilant to 1mb to 1 min. i will be getting prepaid service and the highest data option i can get is 500mb. ok i know that is equivilant to 500 min. but the app uses a lil bit of data when im not making calls on the app to listen for calls, my question is does anyone know how much data it slowly uses in the background, if i have a 100mb or 250mb or 500mb plan i wonder how much data will be eaten away each day if i leave the app on in the background. i know i can close the app when im not using it but i just would like to know about of average and if anyone can monitor this and tell me the results. i think it's an important issue that needs to be addressed for peace of mind for people who use the service on their 3g or w.e network they use.

NOTE: i dont have the nexus s phone or an app that can let me see the data usage, so thats why im on here.

Aren't most Canadian cell providers blocking VOIP calls via data? I'm sure Rogers does. This would mean that this service is mostly good for wifi only. Please correct me if I'm wrong here.

I can't seem to get Dell Voice to work with my iPhone 4. I'm on Rogers and I can still use Skype via 3g. I just tested it now to confirm. My problem with Dell Voice is it says there isn't a connection whether I'm connected with wifi or 3g.

I got it work on my iphone 4s no problem at all and sound was I was on 3G unrestrictor

I'm using Rogers with Dell Voice on an iPhone and it works fine, so they are not blocking it.
