VoIP unlock, Dell Voice, and a single account?
Hello Dell Voice users. I posted earlier about the 90-days of use, but now I am considering the VoIP unlock option, but would like to have only one new number created, instead of two accounts. From what I understand, Dell Voice provides both a cellphone and a pc application, while the VoIP unlock only provides a pc option and account. If you have any suggestions or information on this, I would be very appreciative. Thank you in advance!

Buying the config file will just open up options to you, not shut any down. You will buy the config file for the account you have now, that will give you the option to use it on your mobile, on the PC, or a SIP client. BUT only one at a time. You will not be able to connect your home ATA and your mobile at the same time - for example.

Re: VoIP unlock, Dell Voice, and a single account?
I just read your other post, so I will try and clear things up a bit for you.
A Fongo account has the ability to connect via their desktop softphone. You can buy the config file that will allow you to use a SIP client (ATA, VOIP phone, etc)
A DellVoice account will do the same a a Fongo account, but you can also install an app on your mobile phone as well. You don't have to buy the config file to use the mobile app, you do you have to buy the config file is you want to use an ATA.
At the moment there is no way you can use a Fongo account on DellVoice, or vice versa. There has been posts made by Fongo staff that is may be possible to move a Fongo account over to DellVoice if you call in to a CSR.
If things are still not clear, let us know what it is you would like to do with your account(s) and I am sure someone will tell you the best way of getting there.

Would you help to elaborate on the settings for Dell Voice to be used with ATA? Thanks

Purchase the config file. Enter the credentials provided in the config file into your ata.HP88 wrote:Would you help to elaborate on the settings for Dell Voice to be used with ATA? Thanks
