Few Problems

Post by Pierre »

I am using an FPL configured a “Grandstrean 286 ATA” and a “D Link DIR655” router with a high speed wireless connection (12MB down and 7MB up). I am having few problems and looking for a solution.

Lately, callers are telling me that they hear “beep beep” during conversations as if I had “call waiting” :( . I or the callers don’t have “call waiting”, so I’m not sure what’s causing this. Also, sometime I can’t hear them or they can’t hear me for a few seconds :( . Not sure if these two situations are related but sure would like a resolution.

Any suggestions or has anyone had similar problems?

Thanks,
Pierre

Pierre,

1- You automatically do have call waiting with FPL and it does "beep beep" when you're already talking to someone and receive a second call.

2- As for not hearing them or vice versa when your call waiting beeps it does cut the sound as it beeps but that shouldn't be more than a second.
