Dell Voice: Very strange Issue, possible a bug there.

Post by WilliamY »

HI,

My friend has his FPL ATA (using wired, 192.168.1.4, port forwarding set properly) and Asus Transformer Prime Tablet(using Wifi, 192.168.1.3, Dell Voice Android version is installed) connected to the same router TP-LINK, outgoing calls made by DV on Asus are working great, incoming calls made by the 3rd parties are working great too. However, once he used his own FPL phone to make a call to his Asus's DV number, ALL the incoming calls were screwed, the Dell Voice app was just sit there doing nothing, can't receiving any incoming calls, UNTIL its Wifi connection get reset via Android Settings, Turn Wifi Off and On again.

Overall, Can't use the FPL line to make a call to the Tablet on the same router, once its done, incoming calls are screwed, the rings still can be heard, but DV can't receive any incoming calls, the screen with Answer button never gets pop up, UNTIL DV's Wifi connection get reset.

Hopefully, it can give your teams some hints to fix the issue.

Thanks,

William
