I am using this service with Linksys PAP2 ATA for the last 4 months and everything was working fine. Recently, I am experiencing no audio on the incoming calls, however, the other person can hear us on the other side. There is no change in the configuration of any sort from my side on ATA.
Any suggestion how to fix this problem.

Re: No Audio on Incoming Calls
Your router got amnesia, and "forgot" where to route the incoming audio. Surprised it lasted this long. Quick fix is the turn off the router, ATA and modem, then turn on the modem, wait 20 seconds, turn on router, wait 30 seconds, and then turn on the ATA.
To permanently fix this problem, you need to manually map RTP port(s) to the ATA.

Re: No Audio on Incoming Calls
There is no router between ATA and modem. ATA is directly plugged into modem. Moreover, I am sure what do you mean by manually map RTP ports to ATA.bridonca wrote:Your router got amnesia, and "forgot" where to route the incoming audio. Surprised it lasted this long. FYI - I am using Rogers cable

Re: No Audio on Incoming Calls
This 1-way voice problem most likely happens on your ATA behind a firewall or router. Most home routers block traffic initiated from outside Internet. A smart router can open RTP ports dynamically according to the content of the SIP communication. For most other routers, port forwarding has to be done on a wide range of your ATA RTP ports.

Re: No Audio on Incoming Calls
I believe the problem has been resovled since I changed the pref codec to G711 and "yes" to Use pref codec only.
