I was wondering if anybody else has this issue. I have a phone number that is 905-864-xxxx and for some reason, when certain phone numbers try to call the number they get this message, "The number you are calling can't receive incoming calls." For Example this message is received when Ford of Canada tries to call it (905-845-2511) or the Milton Hospital 905-878-2383. This issue only applies to those numbers (The ones that I have identified because they each complained they couldn't contact me). I am using ATA Cisco SPA2102 and I have turned it off and tried using the the softphone as well to see if the issue was with my ATA, but the issue still exists. Any help is greatly appreciated
Thanks

I had the same issue and I find it interesting you reference Milton as that's the source of the number that is causing a problem: 905 453-xxxx. They used to receive the the warning you mentioned. After a call into Tech Support and the 'account was reset' the issue changed. It's still an issue BUT now the call sometimes rings and we can answer BUT the majority of the time the call is sent directly to Voice Mail (no ring on our end and our friends indicate it goes straight to VM without a ring on their side).
I've called in multiple times to support. I'm going to start chasing this again.

I have been told by tech support that the only way to fix this, is to have the people that can't contact me, contact their phone provider and have them add the 905-864 exchange to their network. I am slightly disappointed because I don't know how big of a problem this is and i don't think that this is a proper solution considering I never had this problem with other VOIP providers. Oh well it was good while it lasted.
