Hi there!
I have been using FreePhoneLine.ca 's desktop application for about a year now without issue. I was previously running Windows Server 2008 R2 (essentially Windows 7), and all was well. I have recently updated to Windows Server 8 (essentially Windows 8), and all of the calls I try to make display the "FAILED" message.
I was wondering if anyone has gotten the FPL Desktop App to work with Windows 8, or if you know what I have to do to complete calls?
All FPL calls fail

Re: All FPL calls fail
In addition to updating to Windows Server 8, I have moved. I believe I had accidentally entered incorrect 911 Information. I have modified this with correct 911 info, and hope this will resolve my issue. I thought this might be the case when trying to dial into my FPL # I am told the account has been blocked. I will let you know how it goes, but so far after an hour of correcting the information, I still can not place or receive calls.

If that is the case, I would call into a CSR and get them to look at what might be the problem. It doesn't sound like something the forum can help you with.ForbiddenSoul wrote:In addition to updating to Windows Server 8, I have moved. Although there are some helpful people here, it's not an official support forum. Calling in will probably get you your answer, or at least point you in the right direction.
Let us know what they tell you.
